About the Larwood & Voce
We all the know benefits of buying locally grown seasonal produce rather than taking a trip to the supermarket. But what about when it comes to eating out?
John Molnar, former Exec Chef of the award winning bluu group which included The Red House at Nether Broughton, thinks his latest venture, the Larwood & Voce in West Bridgford could well be the answer.
The Larwood & Voce is committed to adapting their menu to accommodate seasonal change as well as sourcing quality local produce ensuring you get the freshest ingredients available by keeping the time between field and fork to a minimum.
Spanning 5 counties, The East Midland’s varying landscape supports a diverse range of farming. From the thriving pork industry in Nottingham to Leicester’s famed dairy production and Derbyshire’s sheep and arable farming, the region is abundant with fantastic produce.

Working alongside local suppliers such as Owen Taylor & Son, butchers for over 10 years, Molnar knows that having a good relationship with farmers, growers and producers is paramount. Utilizing the knowledge of local suppliers means the menu virtually writes itself and showcases the range of produce currently in season. Molnar’s commitment to sourcing local produce sees the Larwood & Voce embarking on a West Bridgford allotment project where the establishment’s vegetables will be grown within striking distance of the kitchen.
