"Well where do I start. My husband and I (no we are not royalty, but were treated like it) celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary dinner at your restaurant. From the moment you walk in, to the time that you leave everything is perfect, as always. The staff, friendly, always so pleasant, always so helpful. Dan The manager always takes time to talk the guests as if they were close friends. The atmosphere is so nice and welcoming and comfortable. The food well the food, as always excellent, service, second to none. If you would like a mystery guest do not hesitate to call. We will certainly be visiting again. "Larwood & Voce, just a short message to say my wife & I have just returned from the L&V Thurs 22/9 & wish to congratulate the chefs there for a wonderful,very flavoursome meal, ie chicken breast + English chorizo & the pork belly with puy lentils. Truly the best pub meals we've enjoyed in many years. Well done !!"

"Although I now live in Colchester, I have family and friends in Nottm. and so tend to visit Larwood and Voce when visiting. Both I and my family.friends always have an excellent meal - the food is interesting many of the dishes have a nice "twist" to them interesting and seasonal ingredients along with traditional favourites such as fish 'n' chips and mushy peas a Northern staple! On a recent visit with my father we had two super dishes and I was wondering if it was at all possible for you to forward the recipes to me in the hope that I can try to emulate them! They were: Pan fried Scottish hake ,ham hock and butterbean broth and secondly pan fried lambs liver , baby beets,red sweetheart cabbage, pine nut dressing. Thanking you in anticipation."
